Our Vision:
Speak your mind is a purpose-over-profit organization striving to build an informed, loving, global community that supports the mental well-being of ALL. Our founder, Mario Spano, knows what it is like to battle depression and suicidal thoughts within isolation and although we now host groups for all members of our world, including low income and underserved communities, we hold a special place in our hearts for men’s mental health.
We envision a world where men discussing their feelings and seeking deeper connection is not only seen as strength, but can be a pathway for a safer and more supportive culture as we all strive to elevate our lives together. We envision a world where ALL members of our community have a safe, affordable, and fun place to go where they can be themselves and feel supported in achieving mental wellness.

For several years in a row, men have accounted for 80% of all suicides. Men suffer in silence due to the fact that:
Stigmas exist that make men feel that it is weak to speak up about their feelings, so they avoid seeking help altogether.
There is inadequate education for men (and those who support men) to be able to navigate difficult emotions and process their struggles in a healthy way.
Many men don’t have a strong support system to lean on during difficult times.
Access to mental health services is burdensome, due to an inundated industry with limited and costly options.
